Cuban-Themed Evening with World Famous Composer and Pianist Aldo López-Gavilán

Be transported to a Cuban-themed evening with world famous composer and pianist Aldo López-Gavilán at The Tannenbaum event center on Sunday, November 14, 2021. Enjoy a custom prepared meal by Executive Chefs Chris Nealon and Colin Smith inclusive of mojo pork, Cubano sliders and roasted avocado salad to start; ropa vieja and braised beef accompanied by red peppers, castelvetrano olives, tomato, jasmin rice, black beans, plantain and cilantro coulis as the main dish; and ending with dulce leche and coconut cookie. The evening progresses with a concert and conversation with Aldo at this once-in-a-lifetime evening of food, drink and entertainment.

Recently featured in the multi-awarded documentary The Brothers / Los Hermanos that follows Aldo López-Gavilán and his brother Ilmar, the US release immediately captured the attention of the media with positive reviews in major outlets such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Miami-Herald, among many others. Praised for his “dazzling technique and rhythmic fire” in the Seattle Times and dubbed a “formidable virtuoso” by The Times (London), Aldo López-Gavilán excels in both the classical and jazz worlds as a recitalist, concerto soloist, chamber-music collaborator, and performer of his own electrifying jazz compositions.

Winning bidder(s) will receive 8 tickets to be seated at a table together at this event.

Valid November 14, 2021 only, date non-transferrable.
