Habana a toda cuerda (CD, Colibrí), co-produced by López-Gavilán and Rodrigo García Ameneiro, received three nominations: Chamber Music, Sound Design (Controlled Environment), and Liner Notes.
The nominations follow the 2020-2021 Cubadisco First Prize in Instrumental Music won by Brothers, López-Gavilán’s duo album with his brother, violinist Ilmar Gavilán.
